Presentation:

After a master degree on the subject of Portuguese BBS´s sociability (Superior Institute of Work and Enterprise Sciences - Lisbon), four years ago I started my Phd project, yet on Communication and Culture Sociology , this time having for object the graphical chat´s sociability.

With two fields of research, trying to relate technology, culture and society:

1. - the ideological discourse of the Offer (the organizations/enterprises or other that provide the chat software ), (analysis of content and semiotic of the sites)
1.1 -- Analysis of the software funcionality (how the ideological values of the Offer are unscripted on the application)

2. - Characterization of users and analysis of the social practices on the graphical chat's trying to relate the virtual sociability with the real world sociability (inquiry to the graphical chat users)

Is for this second field of research that I need more help:
